Ryan, who is a Cincinnati native and graduate from Indian Hill High School came to experience the importance of family and food at a very early age.  At age 10, his father underwent traumatic brain surgery. Ryan saw his community and local restaurants rally in support to provided meals for his family. This simple act truly opened his eyes to the bridge food creates by bonding people together.

In 2010, Ryan originally joined Jag’s culinary team, becoming Sous in 2015.  In addition to his career path in the restaurant industry, he developed unique skills in large scale management through pursuing work in engineering + tech fields.   After some time spent in Los Angeles to expand his culinary depth, we welcome Ryan’s return home to again experience the importance of family and food.

Ryan believes a strong team is the key to a successful restaurant, with an emphasis on coaching, while maintaining an enjoyable work environment.   “Quality comes from planning.  Perfection comes from practice.”
