Jag’s Steak & Seafood, West Chester’s first fine dining restaurant, event and entertainment venue, greeted its first guests in 2003.

John Allgaier, who created the original concept, design and name for Jag’s, brought his vision to life by partnering with rising star Chef Michelle Brown to craft a fine dining menu of classic steakhouse dishes and new, contemporary options.

Allgaier and Brown refined and built Jag’s into one of the region’s premier dining and entertainment destinations. Michelle Brown became majority owner and Chef Proprietor in June 2015.

Today, Jag’s Steak & Seafood is known for the best steak, seafood and raw bar in the region, as well as a destination for a complete evening of entertainment with a variety of live music in the Piano Bar 5 nights a week.

Jag’s Steak & Seafood has won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence every year since 2006, with more than 3,000 bottles in its cellars. The restaurant has also won Restaurant Marketer of the Year from Certified Angus Beef, Best Steakhouse in Ohio by Business Insider and Foursquare, and was named one of America's top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in 2019 by OpenTable, among numerous other category awards from OpenTable.
